THE GREAT BOOKS CLASS

TARGET AGE GROUP: 14 - 17 YEARS OLD

Study and discuss "great" literature in a "book club" environment. Emphasis is on discussion and learning how to dissect and discuss literature. There will also be some short papers written b students inorder to learn how to write about literature. We will read one book every two weeks. Books will include such authors as Tolkien, Dumas, Jane Austen, F. Dostoyevsky, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens and other great authors. Final assignment will be a paper and oral report. Taught by a homeschooling mom with a degree in literature from Wheaton College.

WHEN: Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

COST: $40.00 PER MONTH
