Most men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most pick themselves up and continue as if nothing happened.
-Winston Churchill

One should hand over one's time and effort only to a "teacher" who will use that time to teach, not simply to engage in pointless busywork or any other activity created only for the convenience of the teacher or the administration. See Pedagogic Perfidy. Teachers who squander the time put into their hands are betraying a sacred trust and, having engaged in such betrayal, cannot expect students to do otherwise. Such teachers do not deserve the time and obeisance of students, and their actions, by example, invite and justify disregard for academic integrity.

Share your homeschooling resources with others, and see what they are using. Not all parents feel confident about teaching all subjects to their children. The obvious solution is collaborative homeschooling.
